When we receive enquiries for woodfuel chip, these are passed to Phil as our nominated woodfuel chip producer / supplier.

The Eastern Plateau Rural Development Programme is an exciting new investment initiative that is being administered by East Herts District Council. The key aim of the programme will be to invest in local business ventures which operate within a defined geographical area of rural East Herts, North Herts & Uttlesford. The vision for the programme is "a low carbon future for the rural economy".

The team at Eastern Plateau have helped guide Herts WoodFuel through the challenging task of applying for an RDPE Grant and subject to match funding, we have been successful at Steering Committee Level in getting an agreement. Our grant will go towards a modern forestry tractor, log splitter and other equipment to make the woodfuel production cycle even more efficient.
