Barn dried hardwood woodfuel from sustainable sources
Herts WoodFuel only supplies seasoned firewood from hardwood trees. The majority of the timber comes from woodland management operations or from arboricultural arisings received at our depot or timber specially sourced from managed woodlands in Hertfordshire.
On arrival at our depot, timber is sorted and stacked prior to processing - Herts WoodFuel is a forward thinking and progressive company, all timber suitable for firewood is prepared using a modern tractor powered firewood processor and hydraulic log splitter.
Our Firewood Processor can process up to 15m³ of timber an hour and is able to split it up to 6-ways!
Once processed, the firewood is stored in vented bulk bags (see above) for seasoning in our well ventilated barn.

Don't be fooled by other suppliers claiming to sell 1 cubic metre bags which are actually the standard smaller "ton bags" which are 0.6 - 0.75 of a cubic metre!

By popular demand, we are offering just loose deliveries this year using our Land Rover 130 Tipper. Using the Land Rover we can make deliveries regardless of the weather conditions or how remote an address.
The 3.6m³ tipper load is great value - you get the same quantity of firewood as 3x Jumbo Bags for LESS.
